Favorite Stores

Here is a list of some of my favorite “Couponing” stores and why!

MEIJER:

Meijer is probably my very favorite big box store!  They make couponing so easy and offer several options for saving money!

Reasons I shop here:
*Double coupons up to $.50:  Not all stores do this so check and see if yours does.
*They will stack coupons (go to www.meijer.com and click on MealBox for Meijer coupons)
*MPerks – They have the new MPerks program (digital coupons loaded to your cell phone).
*Catalina Deals – they have a ton of these that run all the time!

One thing that you need to watch is the cycle of your Meijer sales!  My store runs sales Thursday – Wednesday, but the store just one town away runs their sales Sunday – Saturday!  To find out what your store’s cycle is just check the ad you receive or ask in your store!

CVS:
CVS is a great place to stock up on personal care items, no doubt!  But make sure to watch their grocery sales.  I am always getting cheap to FREE items there!

Reasons I shop here:
*They will stack coupons (go to www.CVS.com)
*Each store has a CVS coupon printer.  You swipe your customer card and it spits out store coupons that will stack with a manu coupon.
*ECB:  Extra Care Buck CVS – these are “bucks” that print out of the register based on the fact that you have met the requirements for that “buck”.  Usually you must purchase a certain amount of an item to earn the bucks.  They can be used on ANY item at any CVS store.

WALGREENS:

Walgreens, just like CVS, is a fantastic place to stock up on personal care items.

Reasons I shop here:
*They will stack coupons.  Walgreens has a weekly newspaper insert that has coupons in it.  Also, they have a monthly book that has store coupons in it!  Each of these types of coupons can be stacked with a manu coupon.
*RR: Register Rewards – these work very much like the Extra Care Bucks from CVS.  The difference is that RR normally can’t be used to buy an item that they were earned by buying.  For example…If you purchased two Crest Toothpastes and earned $1.00 RR, you can’t use that $1.00 RR to buy Crest Toothpaste.  Other than that, you can use it for any other item at any Walgreens.

KROGER:
Kroger is my choice for a local grocery store!  They run fantastic sales and when you use your coupons during a sale, you can score FREE stuff all the time!

Reasons I shop here:
*
Double coupons up to $.50
*
They have a digital coupon program on their website.  Sometimes these will stack with additional manu coupons.
*
They do have the occasional store coupon which will stack with a manu coupon.

MARSH:
Marsh is another good grocery store.  You have to watch for good deals there.  This store is a bit more pricey overall, but when they run a sale, it is usually a really good one!

Reasons I shop here:
*
Double coupons up to $.50
