UPDATE:  I just found the $4/4 Boxes coupon is still available HERE under zip code 30303!  GRAB IT IN A HURRY!!!

I have been in the middle of a home improvement project for the last two weeks but I wanted to stop and tell you about several great deals that started today at Marsh!

Hopefully you grabbed those $5/5 & $4/4 Kellogg’s coupons that have been around the last week!  Marsh has several of their Kellogg’s cereals 1/2 price this week.

Apple Jacks $1.79
Froot Loops $1.79
Cocoa Krispies $1.99
Frosted Flakes $1.69

Use the $5/5 & $4/4 coupon to score these at $.69 – $.99/box!  SUPER STOCK UP PRICES!!!

There are two deals that “stack” with these prices:

Look for the peelie coupons on the boxes of cereal for FREE M & Ms 9 – 12.6 oz wyb 2 Cocoa Krispies.  I bought 8 boxes of Cocoa Krispies and walked out with 4 FREE 12.6 oz bags of M & Ms!

There is also a peelie coupon for $1/1 gallon of milk wyb 3 Kellogg’s cereals.  Marsh milk is reg. priced this week at $3.05/gallon.  I used 4 coupons and got 4 gallons of milk for $2.05/gallon.  Not too shabby!

Finally:

There is a deal on Fruit Roll-ups!  Buy 4 get $4 off instantly!  They are $1.49/ea wyb 4 and I used 2 GM Insert coupons for $.50/2 that doubled to $1!  Final price was $.99/ea for 4 boxes! I got the 18 ct smaller roll-ups because they are bigger boxes when you look at the amount of ounces in each box!

TOTAL:  $46.44 for $190.14…That is a 76% savings!!!

**On a side note…the $5/5 coupon did give me a few fits and the cashier was a bit snippy with it.  She said that the coupon policy is that they will not take $5 coupons from the internet.  She checked with a manager and he took it with no problem.  I told her that not ONLY did the coupon policy on the companies corporate site say nothing about that (http://www.marsh.net/save/coupon-policy) but the coupon policy that they have posted in the store by the self check outs say nothing about that either.  In the end…it is GOOD to know your store’s policy and you should have no problems with the coupon!

This is the good sale at Marsh and it is going on through the end of the day Saturday!  I am not going to break down my transaction but I will share my grand total!  I got all the things pictured in the four pictures above..all in ONE TRANSACTION!  The total before coupons was $580.57 (I will admit I was a bit shocked when I saw that number).  After coupons and Marsh card I paid ONLY $119.65! That was an 80% savings!

2 funny things about this transaction…my receipt was 8 feet long.  I have NEVER had a receipt that long before.  And…I had too many transactions for the register.  They had to finish my coupons at the service desk.  I was a bit embarrassed and giddy all in one.

**On top of all the instore savings…I earned another $1.90 in my SavingStar acct.  This is just extra money!!  If you don’t have your acct yet…GET IT HERE!

I got 2 gallons of milk at $2.49/ea and used 2 $1/1 coupons from the giveaway a while back!

And then came the meat. I am asked CONSTANTLY how to save money on meat.  One of the ways that I do it is get it on the last “Sell By” date.  You either eat in within a couple of day or you freeze it.  Either way you are saving cash!!!

I was able to get 3 whole chickens for $2.33, $3.02 & $2.70.  The smallest one was over 4 lbs which is easily enough for a meal for my family of five.

I got a 4 pack of Ang Steak on sale for only $12.49.  The reg price was over $30 and we will have left over there was so much in the pack.

My GRAND TOTAL was $44.25 oop for $92.40 worth of food.  Which is only a savings of 52% but when almost half was meat that is a pretty good deal!!  So, I saved over 50% on my meat and over 50% on my total!

My Marsh Triple Coupon Deals!

Posted on : 09-02-2011 | By : Midwest Coupon Chick | In : My Shopping Deals

Well…I headed to Marsh.  There was NO ONE there hardly at all!  Which I love because I want to be able to take my time and not get in anyone’s way!  I took my hubby because I am still pretty sick and I wanted some help!  But…IT IS TRIPLE COUPONS!!!

So…I spent a total oop of $78.46 on $224.56 worth of items.  That is a savings of over 66%, which at Marsh is pretty good.  But…I got 5 lbs of ground beef, 1 lb of strawberries and a bag of salad…all without coupons which sort of killed my percentage!

Again…there are too many deals to list, but I do want to point out a couple of things that are not to miss…

The Kraft Salad Dressing is on sale for $2.00 and the bottles at my store all have a $.50/1 peelie on them.  Final price was only $.50/bottle!

Ball Park Hot Dogs are on sale B1G1 FREE at $3.69.  If you have the $.75/2 coupon from the SS Insert a few weeks back, you can get both packs for $1.44 or $.72/ea!

Quaker Chewy Granola Bars are on sale for $1.88/ea.  I used a $.75/2 coupon getting two boxes for $1.51 or $.76/ea!

There were obviously more things that I got, but these were the highlights.  I would say that I am pretty happy with the deals that I got, but I am hoping they will include the $1 coupons again sometime soon!!

Good luck!!!  Let me know how you did!!!

Most of the time I try to ONLY post deals that you can get right as I am getting them.  This is NOT one of those deals.  I am posting this, however, to encourage you to keep at couponing when you want to quit!  Because, in reality, ANYONE could have done this deal you just needed to have collected the coupons that I had and had them organized to find them!  YIKES…that is the key!

I had a $5/$25 purchase coupon from last week’s Magic Coupon Machine scan as well as some ECBs from last week’s deals.  When I got to the store I scanned my card and got ANOTHER $5/$25 purchase coupon and several others that included a $1 off any Trident, Stride or Dentyne Multipack gum.

The biggest reason I was able to get this deal is because I signed up for the FREE product coupons that P&G gave away on their Facebook pages back at the end of June.

The coupons I got were:
2 FREE Herbal Essences product (up to $3.99)
1 FREE Aussie Product (up to $3.99)
2 FREE Pantene Product (up to $4.99)

Plus, I had a FREE Suave Body Wash coupon from a give-a-way they had about two months ago.  In addition to those…I had 6 FREE Seattle’s Best Coffee coupons from the SS Insert a while back, and a rain check for the Soft Soap deal from two weeks ago.  Put all of that together into two transactions and this is how it all went down:

Transaction #1:

I got 6 Seattle’s Best Coffee
on sale this week for $1.25 but with my coupons they were all FREE

I got 2 Cascade Liquid Dish Det. $3.74 (clearance price)
I used 2 P&G coupons for $1/1 ea
Final Price: $2.74/ea

I got 1 Suave 12oz Body Wash $2.00 (on sale)
I used my FREE coupon

I got 2 Indy Stars $1.75/ea

I got 1 Charmin Basics Big Pack $5.49
I used the P & G $.25 coupon
Final Price: $5.24

I used $4.99 worth of ECBs from last week’s deals and the $5/$25 purchase to have a total oop of $5.08 for Transaction #1.

Transaction #2:

I got 2 Herbal Essences product 2/$4.97 (on sale)
I used my 2 FREE coupons

I got 2  Aussie Product 2/$4.97 (on sale)
I used my 1 FREE coupon
Plus, I used the $1/1 coupon in this week’s RP
Final Price:  $1.48 for BOTH
**I earn $1 ECB for buying two Aussie Products

I got 2 Pantene Product $4.99/ea
I used my 2 FREE coupons

I got 1 Trident 3-pk $3.19
I used my Magic Coupon Machine coupon for $1/1
Final Price: $2.19

I got 3 Soft Soap 8oz $2/ea with my rain check
I used the $1/1 printables (no longer available)
Final Price: $1/ea
**With my rain check I was able to get the $3 ECB from two weeks ago, and I earned the $3 ECB for this week’s sale

I used my second $5/$25 purchase to have a total oop of $3.36 for Transaction #2.

My GRAND TOTAL oop was $8.44 but I earned $7 in ECBs for a net total of $1.44 for $76.72 worth of items!  That is a savings of over 98%!  LOVE IT!!!

**One thing to note…had I split up my Aussie and Herbal Essences purchases I would have earned an additional $1 ECB, but I simply was not paying attention!  Oh Well!

CVS: Kellogg’s Cereal for $.90/box!

So…yesterday I ran to CVS to grab the $.10 folders that are on sale this week and got two GREAT deals from the Magic Coupon Machine!  The first was for a FREE Divine Belgian Chocolate Bar up to $2.29.  That made for a totally FREE candy bar that was big enough for two boys to eat!  Kept them happy!

The second was just a normal $5/$25 purchase coupon.  We have all seen these and probably all used these from time to time.  Here is how I used mine!

I purchased 10 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal on sale this week for $2.50/ea.  I used my $5/$25 purchase coupon PLUS I used 2 of the $5/5 boxes Kellogg’s coupons that were available last week!  I paid a total of $10 oop for 10 boxes of cereal.  That is GREAT…because $1/box is my limit for cereal.  BUT…CVS has an ECB deal this week…Buy 2 boxes of Kellogg’s Cereal and get $1 ECB back.  Because you can only do this deal once this week I only got back $1…but that made the final price for my cereal $.90/ea!  WOOHOO!!!

As if that was not good enough…One of the boxes had a code for the Cars2 promo going on right now and I needed one more code to get my $5 Concession Cash bonus.  So…I was able to get that deal as well!  All in all I was stoked with my trip to CVS.  But now I have a funny looking box of cereal in my pantry!  I told the kids they had to eat that one first!

I headed out to CVS this afternoon because I wanted to stock up on the $.69 Coke 2-liters!  That is just a great deal!!!  While I was there I visited the Magic Coupon Machine!  I was a lucky recipient of the FREE Hershey Air Delight coupon AND the $2/1 Skittles coupon…so I decided to grab a few other deals while I was there!  Here is how my trip went:

Got 5 (that is the limit) 2-liters – $.69/ea

Got 2 Joy Ice Cream Cups – $1.00/ea (which was the sale price at Walmart)
Used 2 $.55/1 printables (no longer available)
Final Price: $.45/ea

Got 1 Hershey Air Delight Candy Bar
Used the FREE coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine (got today)
Final Price: FREE

Then I decided that I would do the Gas Card deal for this week because I had some great coupons to go with it!  When you buy $30 worth of specific items you get a $10 gas card IMMEDIATELY!  This is how I got mine:

Got 2 8-pack Bounty Basics on sale for $5.99
Used 2 $1.00/1 manu coupons from the SS insert a few weeks ago
Final Price: $4.99/ea

Got 2 Pantene Products on sale for 2/$6.97
Used a $2.00/1 Magic Coupon Machine (got today)
Used $3.00/2 manu coupon from last month’s P&G
Final Price: $1.97 for BOTH!

Got 2 bags of Skittles on sale for 2/$5
Used the $2/00/1 Magic Coupon Machine (got today)
Used 2 of the $1.00/1 printables (no longer available)
Final Price: $1.00 for BOTH!

Got 2 bags of M & Ms on sale for 2/$6
Used a $1.50/2 manu from an old insert
Final Price: $4.50 for BOTH!

My Gas Card total came to $18.44 and then I earn a $10 BP Gas Card!  I could have chosen a Shell card or another one (I wasn’t paying attention very well)!

So…My GRAND TOTAL for this stop was $24.68 OOP for $64.36 worth of items.  After you factor in the $10 Gas Card…that is a savings of almost 78%!  Not too shabby!!!

**One thing to note about this trip…ALL of my printables that I used to get the GREAT deals are no longer available!  If you see a printable that comes across for something that your family would use…GRAB IT!  Chances are it will no longer be available when the GREAT deals come around!  Keep it in your binder and wait to use it on a sale!
